Nancy Hagan has more than 30 years of experience listening to and empowering the voices of others; she is a retired vocal music teacher who has lived in the 135th for more than three decades. Just as she enabled the voices of thousands of students, Nancy feels compelled to carry to the Missouri Legislature the voices of the constituents of the 135th so they, too, can be heard.

Nancy understands the needs and concerns of her neighbors, not only about education, but about protection of our privacy and civil liberties, healthcare and insurance, senior services, energy and environment, economic development, and many other issues of critical importance to all Missourians.

For too long, the Missouri legislature has been dominated by divisive tactics and agendas that have negatively impacted citizens of Missouri. Nancy is a solutions-oriented, independent thinker who will bring a fresh perspective to Jeff City. She has the skills to work effectively at building cross-party consensus to allow the voices of her neighbors to be heard in Jefferson City. Nancy believes that public service is not about power or money. It is about advancing peace, justice, and quality of life for the people. She is ready to make sure the “music of your own opinions” will be heard in Jefferson City.
